I used to work at Trader Joe’s, and one of my favorite things about shopping there were the prices. Now not everything was super cheap (especially the impulse purchases), but I did love how the essentials (and more) were always a great price! And whether you’re looking for pre-cooked meals or just some basic pantry items, this store has a great selection (even if you’re on a budget).

Trader Joe’s is a good source for inexpensive basics like cheese. And when I say cheese, I mean almost any kind of cheese you can think of. They really are a great price, so grab some nice cheeses for your meals or party this week!
Bananas
Compared to other grocery stores, bananas at Trader Joe’s are sold per piece (19 cents per banana) rather than by the pound. So if you only want one or two bananas (or a whole bunch), then you’ll definitely save so much more than if you bought them elsewhere.

Trader Joe’s is known for its store brand. They have plenty of people who are die-hard fans and will get anything Trader Joe’s. So if you’re into getting good quality store brands, then you’ll definitely save a lot.

Trader Joe’s is also well-known for they’re creative options in the frozen food aisle. You can get pre-made meals like mac and cheese bites, steak and ale pies, and Mandarin Orange chicken that are easy to cook and filling. They’re perfect for when you have busy nights, and they’re so much better than frozen meals from other stores.
Coffee
If you’re looking for the best place to get inexpensive coffee beans with a great variety, then Trader Joe’s has got you covered. They’re affordable and the can packaging looks so cute it can be upcycled for functional decor.
Snacks
From veggie chips to popcorn to (awesomely flavored) nuts, snacks at Trader Joe’s are a great deal. In fact, they’re one of the best selling products in the store, so you can’t go wrong with them.
Olive Oil
As a basic cooking ingredient, we tend to buy a lot of bottles of olive oil. But did you know you can save a lot by buying them at Trader Joe’s?
Their price for olive oil is so much better than other stores and is still great quality.
