It’s that time again; it’s the season for watermelon, fireworks, and barbecues. And as the 4th gets closer, you might want to fill your home with easy and cute Fourth of July decor. But unfortunately, not all of us has the budget to spend on decorating our place.
So that’s why I decided to find some amazing and budget-friendly ideas that’ll make your home look great. These are DIY projects that are all easy to do, require no crafty skills, and will make your life a bit easier. So check them out and let me know what you think!
Clothespin Patriotic Wreath
This tip is super simple and smart. All you have to do is paint a bunch of clothespins red, white, and blue, add some paper punch out stars to the blue clothespins, and attach them to a wire wreath. Tie a ribbon on the back of the wreath and it’s now ready to display on your front door.
DIY Bandana Pillow Case
With two dollar store bandanas (preferably red and blue), and some ribbon, you can easily create a 4th of July themed pillowcase. This will definitely add a pop of color to your living room.
Patriotic Flower Vase
Need a last minute table centerpiece? Get three transparent flower vases, add some water, add a drop of red or blue dye for each one, and place some daisies inside. Pretty simple right?
Patriotic Lollipop Centerpiece
Have some fun with your table setting and make a bouquet of lollipops. You’ll just need a small galvanized bucket, craft foam, stick glue, and a bunch of long red, white, and blue lollipops.
Patriotic Paper Chains
Just by simply creating a paper chain made from red, white, and blue colored paper, you can easily create a cute stream for your home. Hang them on the wall and they can also serve as a background for your photo backdrop.
Mason Jar Candles
Light up your 4th of July by adding red, and blue dye to your rice to make a candle holder. You just have to mix the food coloring and rice in a baggie by giving it a nice shake.
Once your rice is ready, scoop the red rice into your mason jars first, followed by plain white rice, and top with blue rice. Put the candle on top and you’re done!
DIY Table Runner
This one is fairly simple. Just cut a star shape from foam and stamp with paint onto a burlap table runner. Let it dry for a few minutes and then place on your table.
Use Sparklers to Create Unique Photos
Lastly, for a night you’ll never forget, use some sparklers to create memorable and unique 4th of July photos. Just put your camera on a tripod, stand outside in the dark, and start drawing your design in the air using sparklers.
