Turns out that your spoon is not just great for your kitchen, it can also be used as a guide for the perfect eyeliner flick. Wanna learn how? Start by lining up the straight handle underneath the outer corner of your eye to create the sharp and straight underside of your flick, and then use the curved head to trace from the pointed tip back towards your lash line. Then just fill in the outline and you’re done.

Clean Up with Cotton Buds

In case you draw your flick too thick or crooked, don’t smudge or rub it with your finger. Just use some cotton buds. Dip the pointed end into the water or makeup remover and then swipe it on the excess eyeliner and leave a clean and sharp line behind.

Try Sticky Tape

If you want to have the perfect cat eye flick, get a snippet of tape, place it alongside your eye, and use a template. Apply your eyeliner and let any mistakes slip straight onto the tape rather than on your skin. Peel after and all unwanted liner will be taken off with it.

Take the tip of your eyeliner and create a line of dots across your lash line, then all you have to do is join them up. This will instantly give you a perfect wing eyeliner look.

Say No to Black Eyeliner

Get the grey shade, it’s actually very flattering on aging eyes as it’s less harsh and provides a more subtle line to keep eyes looking defined, but still big and youthful. Instead of buying those expensive gel eyeliner, why not make your own and save so much time and money. All you have to do is melt your eyeliner pencil with a lighter and apply it with a small brush.
