Follow it up with a mixture of one cup vinegar and one cup boiling water. Let it sit for five to ten minutes then finish up with another pot of boiling water.
De-Stain Plastic Food Containers
You might just have stained food containers that look pretty messy. But before you throw them out, make a paste of equal parts baking soda and water, spread throughout the inside the container, and let it sit for ten minutes.
